Our story is one of resilience and dedication. The Oregon Black Doula Association was born from a shared mission to positively impact the Black maternal healthcare system. We are a group of diverse doulas and collective minds, all moving toward the same vision: to improve the overall experience for Black families preparing for new life.

Based in Portland, Oregon, we are proud to serve our local community and excited to expand. We recognized that to change the narrative around Black maternal health, we needed to work together to strengthen advocacy and representation within the healthcare system. We take great pride in our accomplishments and are honored to work alongside our community to bridge the gap and reduce infant mortality and birth complications.
